This is absolutely hilarious!

I've had a copy of it on VHS for years, but have never seen it subtitled.

Worth a look for certain!

Just got home from seeing Superman Returns, not happy with it, not at all.

Too much of it is a variation of what has already been in previous Supe flicks, and the new ideas are mostly garbage.

You know it's not a good thing when about an hour into the film you're thinking about how good the new Pirate's flick looks, and wish you were seeing that instead.

The best moment on the screen tonight was seeing the teaser for Spiderman 3.

I kept feeling like I'd either seen this before, or this is boring, with a few moments of "gee, that's pretty cool", and one "Oh god, please don't let what I think this means be true" (but it was). This spread over a 2 1/2 hour running time.

In one of the climactic scenes at the end three people are trapped in a sinking ship, and I was thinking "Please. Just. Let. Them. Drown." But of course this couldn't happen.

It wasn't a completely horrible movie, just a very flawed, underwhelming movie.

Bryan, you should have just stayed with X-Men 3.

p.s. You know I must feel strongly about it, as I haven't bothered to post anything of note in over 5 months, and some pretty cool stuff has happened too. What can I say? Me and movies...

Haughty Intellectual
You are 100% Rational, 14% Extroverted, 42% Brutal, and 71% Arrogant.
You are the Haughty Intellectual. You are a very rational person, emphasizing logic over emotion, and you are also rather arrogant and self-aggrandizing. You probably think of yourself as an intellectual, and you would like everyone to know it. Not only that, but you also tend to look down on others, thinking yourself better than them. You could possibly have an unhealthy obsession with yourself as well, thus causing everyone to hate you for being such an elitist twat. On top of all that, you are also introverted and gentle. This means that you are just a quiet thinker who wants fame and recognition, in all likelihood. Rather lacking in emotion, introspective, gentle, and arrogant, you are most certainly a Haughty Intellectual! And, most likely, you will never achieve the recognition or fame you so desire! Sweet!

To put it less negatively:

1. You are more RATIONAL than intuitive.

2. You are more INTROVERTED than extroverted.

3. You are more GENTLE than brutal.

4. You are more ARROGANT than humble.

Compatibility:

Your exact opposite is the Schoolyard Bully. (Bullies like to beat up nerds, after all.)

Other personalities you would probably get along with are the Braggart, the Hand-Raiser, and the Robot.

If you scored near fifty percent for a certain trait (42%-58%), you could very well go either way. For example, someone with 42% Extroversion is slightly leaning towards being an introvert, but is close enough to being an extrovert to be classified that way as well. Below is a list of the other personality types so that you can determine which other possible categories you may fill if you scored near fifty percent for certain traits.

The other personality types:

The Emo Kid: Intuitive, Introverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Starving Artist: Intuitive, Introverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

The Bitch-Slap: Intuitive, Introverted, Brutal, Humble.

The Brute: Intuitive, Introverted, Brutal, Arrogant.

The Hippie: Intuitive, Extroverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Televangelist: Intuitive, Extroverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

The Class Clown: Intuitive, Extroverted, Brutal, Arrogant.

The Robot: Rational, Introverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Haughty Intellectual: Rational, Introverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

Tomorrow we're off to San Antonio for a week.

It'll sure be a nice change from the freezing rain, and ice we had yesterday. Looks like it'll be in the 70's & upper 60's. Right now it's 29 outside here, and doesn't appear to be changing soon. And while the light covering of snow is pretty to look at, there is most likely some slick ice underneath.

Yesterday morning I discovered that it had rained the night before, and then the temp dropped sharply. I discovered this when I stepped out on to the front porch to put the recycle bin on the curb for pick up, and promptly did a Benny Hill/Three Stooges gag and flew through the air, soaring over the cement steps of our lovely cement porch, and reacquainted my self with the wonderfully solid cement walkway. It was quite a smashing experience.

It looked something like this.

I'm glad to see the hotel we are staying in has a hot tub and sauna, as they may come in handy. It's sure a better place to visit this time of year than Boston, where we were last year. Boston was fun, but bitingly cold. I was happy to see we'll be right by Six Flags, then saddened to see that they don't open until March. :(

There looks to be plenty to do and see though, and we'll be right in the middle of the Riverwalk area. I think a fun time shall be had by all.
